Can You Count Calories for Weight Loss Success?
This is a common question that people looking to lose weight ask.  The most successful programs for weight loss focus LESS on counting calories and MORE on developing a system for weight loss.
Success is a System
Developing a successful weight loss strategy involves making some decisions on how you will develop a consistent, repeatable system which results in life-long habits that you can count on.
Stocking the Cabinets with the Foods that you SHOULD Eat
The first big step to weight loss is stocking the cabinet with foods that you like and are good for you.  These can include fruits, veggies, veggie chips, plant-based burger patties, microwaveable whole grains like brown rice or quinoa, or low calorie snacks like sugar free jello.  When you reach for a snack it's important to know when you cheat that you are cheating with a low calorie options vs. a high calorie options.
Building a NEW Plan for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner
So losing weight has alot to do with the philosophy that you have for eating.  A NEW PHILOSOPHY is needed to have sustainable weight loss.  Dieting is NOT the answer.  The biggest change in philosophy is to first fill half (1/2) of your plate with fruits, veggies, salads, or plant based foods BEFORE eating any other foods.  Then fill your plate with other items like healthy carbs and proteins.
To lose weight and be healthy, half of your meal should be fruits and vegetables.  Eat these before eating protein and carbs.  Limit portion sizes on carbs and protein...eat until full but not stuffed.
Weight Loss Supplements
To aid your weight loss the Lifestyle Nutrition Shop's Weight Loss Diet Drops have the latest and greatest ingredients to assist with Weight Loss.  These products have been proven in many different studies as helpful for achieving weight loss.  Ingredients like African Mango, Maca Root, and Rhodiola Rosea Root have shown in various studies to assist in burning fat, suppressing appetite, boosting metabolism, and increasing energy so you want to move more.
Does I Have to Exercise?
Obviously exercise is always and important factor in overall health.  However, alot of exercise is not the biggest factor in your weight loss.  For example, if you work out for 20 - 30 minutes, this might burn 100 calories or so.  Basically the equivalent of 2 oreo cookies.  However, exercising will help your overall health so everyone should be exercising 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes.  This will help you heart, lungs, joints, and benefit your longevity.
However, If you expect that you can eat whatever you want and just start exercising and expect that you will lose weight...that is not likely to happen.  Weight loss is associated with developing a new system or philosophy for eating more importantly than anything else.
Eating Habits:  Time of Day
Limiting your hours of eating is one of the best strategies to start losing weight.  If you can eat two meals a day, say like 11 am and 6 pm.  and not additional foods or snacks after 7 pm, this is one easy way to lose weight.
This allows you to have some big meals 700-1000 calories but will help you to lose weight because you are not eating as often.
It's the late night eating that leads to much of our weight loss gain.  So if you do cheat, make sure it is the healthier items like apple crisp chips, beet chips, kale chips, or other low calorie alternatives.
Questions to Ask?
1.  What fruits, veggies, and plant-based meals can I put in my pantry, refrigerator, or freezer so I eat these items first before eating proteins and carbs?
2.  How often do I need to eat.  2 meals a day? 3 meals a day? 4 meals a day? Can I use fasting or skipping a meal as a new formula for success?
3.  What weight loss nutritional supplements can I use to aid and assist my weight loss goals?
4.  What amount of exercise can I commit to and stick with it?  Can I set aside a specific time or time period for exercising?
